We have various ways in which you can help with the development of our beautiful woodland estate.
Here are some practical ways to help the Jarman Centre: not only fundraising, but opportunities to volunteer and even stay at the Centre – as if you need a reason!
Do you have a stash of badges that need sewing on to your camp blanket?
Grace Bristow offers a fantastic service: she will sew those badges on your blanket in exchange for a donation to the Jarman Centre. A huge thank you to Grace – she has raised over £1,000 as of July 2017! Send a message for Grace via the Contact Us form to book in your blanket.
Download the donation form – don’t forget you can claim your ‘I supported the Jarman Centre’ badge too!
Badges and books on eBay
Over the past four years we have raised over £5,000 from selling badges and we recently sold our entire collection! We are now starting again and are happy to receive some of your surplus stock. We are also planning to sell obsolete Girlguiding publications and other guiding-related books, so watch out for those.
Shop online to raise money for the Jarman Centre. We have received more than £160 simply from our supporters shopping online! This amount is part of over £5 million generated by easyfundraising.org.uk for over 50,000 causes just like ours.
The Jarman Centre earns the cash donations when people register to support us and shop online through the site. It’s a really simple process, all you have to do is:
- Register at www.easyfundraising.org.uk
- When you’re asked to choose your cause select Jarman Centre – Newmarket
- Get shopping – it couldn’t be easier!
Now you can also raise funds on the go with the easyfundraising app – for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
