We open up the estate to the general public once a year on the Early May Bank Holiday with organised activities for families. Admission free with a small charge for instructed activities and for the challenge badge. This year our activities are based around the British Tree challenge, which was set by 1st Goodrington Guides.
We are always happy to welcome new volunteers at the Jarman Centre: if you could help prepare craft activities or come and help on the day please contact Toni-ann.
An Outdoor Activity Day for Rainbows and their teddies with most of the activities taken from the new programme.
This event is being organised by the Jarman Centre management team on behalf of Girlguiding Cambridgeshire East County. Any surplus will be for the benefit of the Jarman Centre.
Here are some useful documents:
Rainbow Bear Trail flyer/booking form for parents that you can give to your Rainbows.
Rainbow Bear Trail unit booking form – please send to the County Office by 30 June.
This is the weekend when we give the whole house a thorough clean.
Why not come and join us for all or part of the weekend! We have fun as well as getting a lot of jobs done – make it a family weekend, we just charge for meals.
We usually have a take-away Friday evening and then share the cooking over the course of the weekend with some time out Saturday evening.
Contact Toni-ann if you’d like to get involved.
